Katherine Starke earned a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.F.A. at the New School. Her poems and prose have appeared in Midwest Poetry Review, The Garfield Lake Review, No Exit, Eidos Magazine, Dwan Magazine, Fireweed, The Old Red Kimono, The Quad, and the Outrider Press anthology, among others. She has lived in Japan and New York City. She currently resides and writes in South India near Sri Sathya Sai Baba's ashram.
